POOR QUALITY OF EDUCATION

In our group, we talked about insecurity. Under it, I took poor quality of education. During conflict, there will be insecurity and therefore no proper and effective teaching since many of qualified teachers will be displaced and others are the victims of the conflict, leading to poor quality of education in the country. Also during conflict, the security of most materials like textbooks which are supportive for both teachers and students are destroyed, hence leading to poor quality of education. Education in emergency are not effective since most of the teachers who are voluntary and unqualified. For example, when I was in senior six, we had physics teacher who sat in senior six and failed was assigned to teach us because there were no physics teachers. He taught us and sat with us during examination and passed very well. Is like, he was teaching himself alone. Therefore when there is insecurity, education is infective.

  1. How interesting that a person who originally failed a course was assigned to be the instructor! (This also speaks to the belief that the best way to learn something is to teach it!) Did he return to the class after taking the test and passing or move on leaving a void that again had to be filled?

  2. I agree with your ideas, insecurity it crisis as you said ,but it give us the hope to think about how to develop education in emergence and how to get facilities that can make our children to learning on that situation?
