THE SHEDD AQUARIUM
In shedd Aquarium I saw many species of fish which were taught for me in secondary school and university, but I haven't seen them alive. example Ray fish, Star fish and many others. Based on my observation, I felt if such aquarium can be build along River Nile, like say (Nile Aquarium). how much shall the government of South Sudan earn yearly. which will enable government to get revenue in other different source, instead of depending on the oil revenue only. this will also benefit many states of South Sudan, since around five states of South Sudan lies along River Nile.
Grace,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic Idea! Not only would this be a great place for students to come and learn, but also it would provide many, many different jobs! Would you suggest highlighting the animals and fish from the Nile or expanding to include species from other regions?
yah I have seen many related species of fish. however some aquatic animals may not be there in south sudan, but others can be introduce from other regions to the aquarium is a matter of studying which conditions are favorabl. them to survive
ReplyDeletePerfect Grace,i think our government should not rely just on petroleum as the only source of income in south Sudan but investing on other resources like fishery can also make a rapid change in the country, thats a great idea maybe folks like you the biologist can help in the implementation
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great idea. Before we go back, we should all come together and lay our action plans so that together as a team, we can make a change.
